Overview

The carousel is the primary component for displaying shoppable videos on your storefront. Which videos it shows comes from a playlist in Videoselz; how it looks and plays is set in the Videoselz Carousel block in your Shopify theme editor.

Choosing the videos (playlists)

In Videoselz, go to Video Pages and click Add video to page.
Under Choose a Page to Display Your Playlist, pick the homepage, a product or a collection.
Under Choose Videos, select the videos to include, then save using the save bar at the top.

Each page has one playlist. On the playlist's page (Playlist videos) you can drag videos to reorder them, click Add videos to this playlist, and click Open on storefront to see it live.

For a collection playlist, you can turn on Show this playlist on products pages in this collection that don't have their own videos, so every product in the collection shows the same videos without setting each one up.

The Free plan allows 10 videos per playlist; Pro is unlimited.

Carousel type

In the Videoselz Carousel block, Carousel Type sets the layout:

Carousel Type	Description
Carousel (default)	A horizontal row of video cards
Stories	A stories-style layout

Appearance settings

These are set in the Videoselz Carousel block in the theme editor:

Carousel video size: Mini, Small, Medium or Large (102, 202, 252 or 302px). Default Medium.
Carousel video rounding: None, Small, Medium or Large (0, 8, 16 or 24px). Default Medium (16px).
Spacing between videos: 0–50px. Default 5px.
Video border: border color and width.
Max width of the carousel.
Show Carousel Arrow Buttons: on by default.

Colors, fonts, the play button, product cards, captions, vignette and shadows are set in Videoselz under Settings → Carousel.

Autoplay and player behavior

Autoplay Videos: Play videos simultaneously (default), play one at a time, or off.
Autoplay Video Duration: default 3 seconds.
Auto-progress Interval: default 3 seconds (0 turns it off).
Mute on Fullscreen Play: off by default.
Open Player: what happens when a shopper taps a video — Fullscreen (default), Floating, or None.
Floating Player Size: Small, Medium (default) or Large.
Auto-launch of the floating player: off by default.

Showing a specific playlist

By default, the block shows the playlist for the page it's on. To show a different playlist, copy its ID from the playlist's page in Videoselz and paste it into the block's optional Playlist ID field.

The block has a Custom CSS field for styling changes the settings don't cover.
