Your First Shoppable Video

This guide gets you from zero to a live shoppable video on your storefront as fast as possible. The home screen of the app walks you through the same three steps in its Create your first Playlist checklist.

Step 1 -- Upload a Video

In Videoselz, open Library and click Upload video, then choose Upload from device. Drag in one or more MP4 or MOV files (H.264 or H.265). You can also choose Upload from Shopify, Import from Instagram or Import from TikTok.

Step 2 -- Tag Products

On the video's card in the Library, click + Tag Product. Search for the products featured in the video, select them, and click Save tag. Leave Add videos to product playlist (Recommended) checked so the video also shows on those products' pages.

Step 3 -- Create a Playlist

Go to Video Pages and click Add video to page. Under Choose a Page to Display Your Playlist, pick your homepage, a product or a collection, select the videos to show, and save. You can skip this step for product pages if you left Add videos to product playlist checked in Step 2.

Step 4 -- Add to Your Storefront

On the Videoselz home screen, click Add app block, then Activate next to the page type (Homepage, Product pages or Collection pages). Your live theme opens in the theme editor with the Videoselz Carousel block added — click Save. Back in Videoselz, click Refresh to see ✓ Active.

Step 5 -- Preview

On the playlist's page in Video Pages, click Open on storefront to see your shoppable video live. Visitors can now watch the video and tap tagged products to add them to cart.
