Variant Display Behavior

Where to find it: Settings → Quickview → Quickview Behavior

Controls how product variants (such as size, color, or style) are displayed inside the quickview panel.

Option	Description
Smart	Automatically chooses the best format based on the number of variant options. Dropdowns for many options, pills for few. (Default)
Dropdown List	Always shows variants in a dropdown menu, regardless of how many options exist.
Pills	Always shows each variant option as a clickable pill/chip button.

Recommended:

• Smart works well for most stores with mixed product types.
• Pills is visually engaging and works best when you have a small number of options (e.g., 2–5 colors or sizes).
• Dropdown is best for products with many options (10+ sizes, for example) where pills would take too much space.
